This 1997 Acura NSX was brought to Curry’s for high performance upgrades. The car came standard from the factory with a Formula 1 race inspired 3.2 liter V6. The car’s stock output was somewhere around 290 hp from the factory. More than enough performance in 1997 in a car built entirely from aluminum, which weighs a little over 3000 pounds.
However, in today’s world of 300 hp sedans and SUV’s the car needed a power upgrade. Curry’s in conjunction with well known Acura/Honda specialists Comptech gave this 1997 NSX an added boost with Comptech’s supercharger kit. Comptech’s kit along with their header package will add close to 100 horsepower to the car while still keeping the car entirely street legal and emissions legal.
