Vernon Abel has been with Curry’s since 2001 and has worked at Dulles and Chantilly in a variety of management positions and is now the Falls Church Manager. Vernon is uniquely positioned to meet our customers needs based on his 30 years of experience as both a certified ASE technician and store manger. When not taking care of his customers at Curry’s, Vernon can be found spending time with his daughter and riding his Harley Davidson. Vernon also received and Outstanding Dedication Award in 2004.
Steve Varela graduated from James Madison University with a degree in Computer Science and is the shop’s Service Manager. He first served as a manager at the Dulles store in 2004 before being transferred to the Falls Church shop after it opened. In addition to being the Service Manager, Steve is also the high performance specialist and can handle all your performance needs on both European and Asian imports. Steve received Manager of the Year Award in 2005.
Bill Posthumus joined Curry’s in June of 2005 after spending over 30 years as an ASE certified technician in the DC area. Bill can work on virtually all domestic, European and Asian imports. Bill also does much of our upgrade work at Dulles including the installation of high performance exhausts, suspensions systems, and transmission upgrades. When he isn't working cars at Curry's, Bill is either out riding one of his Harleys, working on his 900 hp drag racer, or playing pool.
